On this blog I offer you a short introduction into my Lego Cuusoo project: "Lego The Adventures of Tintin".
Living in Belgium, I grew up with the character of Tintin, created by Hergé. I remember reading the comics.
After seeing the 2011 3D motion capture computer-animated epic adventure movie
"The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn", I finally decided to make this me until now biggest and most complicated lego cuusoo project.
The lego Tintin sets will make the best scenes of the 2011 Tintin
movie, the Tintin sequel and possible the third Tintin movie, playable
for kids and collectors.
The movie, directed by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, is based on
three of Hergé's albums: The Crab with the Golden Claws (1941), The
Secret of the Unicorn (1943), and Red Rackham's Treasure (1944). My
project will focus on the main action scenes in this first Tintin movie.
There will be a sequel and probably even a third movie, so Lego has
enough possibility's to make this a fantastic theme. I just decided to
give them a helping hand...
To push my project, I decided to contact Moulinsart S.A., who owns the
exploitation rights related to the work of Hergé. I will present my
project to them as well. It only shows that I want to do everything to
make this a success. I also decided not to wait until Lego Company
actually produces my idea, but will be giving away most of my lego
Tintin digital designer files for free.
